The system adopts chip-level privacy protection design, with all image data processing completed on the device. This is both a preemptive response to the data compliance requirements of the EU AI Act and a revelation of the key value of edge computing in consumer-grade AI scenarios.

Unlike the common closed-ecosystem strategies in the industry, Miloco particularly emphasizes cross-brand device interoperability. Its innovation lies in using the semantic understanding of large models as a universal middleware layer, dynamically parsing vague commands like "movie-watching mode" to automatically coordinate devices using different protocols. This design significantly reduces the cognitive friction between users and IoT systems. In terms of developer ecosystem development, Xiaomi is essentially turning the home space into an AI capability testing ground by opening up core module interfaces such as visual perception, intent recognition, and device scheduling in a layered manner. It is worth noting that the MiMo-VL-Miloco model exhibits an evolution path of edge-cloud synergy.
