In terms of personnel appointments, Vincesyao has officially assumed the role of Chief AI Scientist in the Office of the President, reporting directly to Tencent President Liu Chiping, while also serving as the head of the AI Infrastructure Department and the Large Language Model Department, reporting to Lu Shan, President of the Technology Engineering Group. This arrangement aims to integrate R&D resources and enhance strategic synergy, underscoring Tencent’s high regard for AI leadership.
